SKILL OF INNOVATION
Innovation is the concept of new ideas, devices or methods that bring better solution to meet the new requirements, unarticulated or existing needs for the society. It is accomplished through more effective products, processes, technologies, services or business models which become readily available to the government and general masses. We may consider ‘Innovation’ as different changes or alterations, transformations, metamorphosis, reorganization, restructure, rearrangement, recasting and better renovation. The inventions and discoveries are much superior but also linked with innovations.
The Innovation can be achieved through certain eminent qualities:

Self Confidence: The renowned scientists, doctors, artists, sports persons, agriculturists etc. have achieved their targets through reliable confidence.
·       First of all the implementation of ideas, through good imagination, provide the major assets to achieve success in life.
·       The concept of creativity is essential to take it as granted through righteous efforts. A person may possess good physical health, wealth and other resources but lack of self confidence fails to provide the desired progress.
·       The open mode of operation is more receptive, relaxed, exploratory, playful and humorous. These aspects guide and inspire us for improvement of actions.
·       You must perform constructive tasks with full efforts. The appreciation about your success will keep on encouraging your attempts.
·       Try to get involved in tasks which tend to create fear in mind. The things we fear in most organizations are fluctuations, disturbances and imbalances.
·       Do not feel disappointed and distressed during situations of failures; rather try to restart the work with full devotion and confidence. Also try to analyze the problems and shortcomings so as to find righteous solutions.
·       Contact the persons who are already in advanced state of projects so as to seek guidelines and motivations.
·       Study useful books and literature to gain the necessary knowledge about particular subject.

Importance of proper Planning: The process of raising new questions, to regard old problems from new angles, new solutions require creative imagination and mark real advance in the scientific projects. Once we read ourselves of traditional thinking, we can get on with creativity of future. There will not be the requisite progress without creativity and we would be forever repeating the same patterns. We should concentrate on the scheme and procedure of the task to achieve the goal or destination, accquire the latest skill from expert personnel’s, adopt better practice, make arrangements for required equipments, time management and introspection of improvements at regular intervals. The time, talents and energy are natural and divine gifts to mankind.

Work with Great Zeal and Courage:  The achievement of success in any field kindles our enthusiasm and motivates us to venture on innovative concepts. The events of failures tend to discourage our thoughts and the mind acquires feebleness which tends to create disinterest for a particular task. You must develop strong winning spirit; take the defeat as a challenge. Investigate upon the causes of failures; learn from the qualities of winners so as to improve upon personal status. However, certain theories of innovations cause toilsome troubles and danger. When you are keen to achieve your goal, you have to move steadily towards it with commitment, patience, strong will and perseverance.

Noble Thoughts and Aspirations: These are everlasting sources of strength, stability and peace. The splendid thoughts are the foundations of inner joy and cheers. The best motivation is provided through our Spiritual Guide. Seek initiation; concentrate on regular prayer and method of meditation, so as to gain the spiritual will power and Divine bliss. The joy inside means, the delight outside and everywhere. Let nothing hinder your Endeavour to achieve this noble objective which you set for yourself. The strong tides of life push the man forward to the mainstream of present (which merges into future as the time advances) overcome inadequately; carry on forward movements without reluctance towards a glorious future. The courage confers the ability to face and endure fear, danger or sufferings for a cause. Both courage and bravery are required upon rough storms of life, for achieving the excellence in the selected fields of activities and overcoming the low state of mind during the moments of distress. According to Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam, introspect about these principles,” I am the best, I can do it, goodness is always within, I am the winner and today is my day.”

Avoid Negative Intentions:  Disappointments, despair and pessimistic outlook disturb self confidence. Positive thinking leads to physical and mental strength. It is not good to have friendship with persons of evil and negative belief. Let us clear our misunderstanding, anger, resentment, fear, guilt, rejection, failures, envy, misbehavior, impatience, mistakes and adverse feelings. Our mind is architect and director of every thought and action. We should exert our full command on our mind so as to perform willful and prominent activities.

How to achieve Innovations?: The device contrivance or process of innovation originates after study and experiments. According to versions of renowned philosopher Trade (1903), the process of innovation requires the consideration; Gain proper knowledge of the subject, Develop positive attitude to implement the new ides, Analyze the decision to adopt or reject the new products, Implementation and use, Confirmation of the decision.
The Department of Science and Technology (DST) has established “The National Innovation Foundation (NIF), India; at Ahmadabad since 2000. NIF has taken major initiation to serve the knowledge rich but economically poor people of the country. It is committed to making India innovative by documenting, adding values, protecting the Intellectual Property Reflects (IPR) of the contemporary, unaided technological innovator as well as outstanding traditional knowledge-holders. It helps to disseminate their innovations on commercial and non-commercial basis; NIF has now established links with KIIT University, Bhubaneswar w. e f. 26.6.2016, when Dr. Harshverdhan, honorable minister of Science and Technology, Govt. of India visited NIF, Ahmadabad.
The person ready for attempt of innovation must possess large scale vision but take regular small steps to get there. One has to be humble but well determined to execute the imaginary and gigantic in terms of aspiration.

Examples of Innovations: A few instances are being mentioned to motivate the masses:
v Designing various kinds of scooters, motorcycles, cars, busses, loading vehicles etc. with better outlook, low fuel consumption, better security devices and low pollution effects.
v Telephone was first discovered by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876, but later on improved to Cell phone and Smart phone.
v Electronic Television was invented by KalmanTihanyl (1926), later on innovated to LCD and even LED (P.Mitchell, 1978).
v The Wright brothers invented Aircrafts and started amazing process of innovations; whereas, we now have many kinds of aero planes which can even carry more than 500 passengers.
v Steam Railway engine has been changed to Diesel and Electric engine.
v Thousands of innovations can be realized from Guinness Book Record, Limca Book Record, Asia Book Record and many more such publications.
v  Books, paintings, music instruments, camera and other scientific instruments are being transformed to better devices.
v Productions of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, various products of crude oil etc. are being modified with time to secure better results.
v Food supplements of confectionaries and packed food products are also being improved for safe nutritious values. There is notable instance of sugar free sweets available in the market.
v Achievements of winning distinctions and Medals in sports and education at National and International level can be possible through motivation, proper guidance, self confidence, courage, spiritual will power, aspirations for competition and thoughts of innovation.
v Production of new varieties of crops, vegetables and fruits for the farmers so as to produce better qualities and productivity.
v The NIF has recently released certain new products as Groundnut Digger, Stencil cutting device, HMT paddy variety, Portable energy, Efficient wood stove, Ointments to cure cracks, Herbal toys
Presently, the innovations are so strong and multifarious that the transformation to modern human generation is considered as much superior to the previous generations. But these should be accepted in full regards with righteous spirit. The youth should neither feel envious nor jealous to their elders because the coming generations will also be involved in more research of innovation.

Benefits of Innovations:     1. Innovations are more effective changes or transformations which bring progress and prosperity of the society.
2. These results of collective novel ideas positively affect the industrial economics and market to meet the growing demands for consumers.
3. Innovations are linked with positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality, competitions etc. This concept introduces in reality something better than before.
4. We must discard our traditional thinking to achieve creativity and progress in future, otherwise, we shall be repeating the same pattern for ever.
5. We should develop creative imagination, raise new questions, locate new possibilities and regard old problems from new angles.
6. The person achieving innovation will be remembered at global level on the scientific map of the world for unique contribution to the society.
7. Continued innovations on a project leads to new discoveries and inventions.

Divine Bliss of Innovation:  Almighty God is the sole creator of the whole universe. He is center of entire cosmos and thus the ultimate Divine Entity to fulfill all the desires and other actions. God can also help us to perform miracles. Although a person lives once but his virtuous living can become praiseworthy. He should concentrate on personal contributions but try to accomplish substantial tasks for society through selfless, voluntary and devotional services. The optimistic attitude, positive objectives and innovative steps help to seek Divine bliss and attain eternity. He should work for a cause and not for applause; live life to express and then to impress. There is greatness in the faith of God, honor in humility and dedicated service to humanity.

Follow Meditation
In simple words, meditation involves thinking on a particular subject in silent and congenial conditions. In religious terms, the meditation is a unique method of concentrating the thoughts through God Words, which tends to link the soul with our divine power. The person becomes successful only with the kind blessings of spiritual guide who provides the virtuous technique of initiation. Meditation is the faithful, emotional, and devotional submission of soul with God.
Living spiritual Master is a true saint who is one with God. He has distinguished qualities of being a mentor, philosopher and guide because he carries the knowledge and experience of prolonged meditation. He is capable to divulge the secret message of God words to his disciples through initiation. These sacred words, if repeated time and again can elaborate the real meaning of human existence. These holy words act as source of immense energy that created every form of life in this world. It also helps to perceive the eternal divine melody. The true saint creates in us the love for God.
The word ‘Meditation’ has been derived from Latin language ‘Meditat (verb—Meditan)’ which means ‘to think, contemplate and ponder’. According to Hinduism and Buddhism, the word ‘Dhiyana’ comes from a word of Sanskrit language ‘Dhiya’ which also means contemplation. In Sikhism, the word ‘Simran’ means meditation.
The technique of initiation, the course, progress and advantages of meditation are elaborated by Saints during the religious congregations and described in holy literatures.
·       Transformation to Meditation:
Proficiency of meditation cannot be achieved through bookish knowledge, reading religious literature, visiting holy places or giving donations. It is not a process of extending information but a steady operation of transformation. Our bodily senses of touch, smell, taste, vision, hearing and mind keep us attached to this world. There are moment of pleasures and sufferings. But we cannot remain confined to the plane of journey in this universe. Death shall take us to the second plane of inward journey.
The change to the attitude of spirituality requires drastic changes in thoughts behavior and actions. We have to modify ourselves and attain virtuous habits of truthfulness, honesty, humility, tolerance, submission, contentment etc. We have to discard the strong vices of anger, lust, attachment, greed, craving for wealth, ego etc. We must understand that visualization of God cannot be achieved through deceit, bribery, ostentatious, pretensions, propaganda, materialistic experiments.
The soul cannot attain purity and strength unless it leaves the materialistic desires. Strong consciousness to merge with God cannot be attained in a few moments because there are no short cuts in spirituality. Our body is temple of God and our heart is seat of God. Therefore, we must search for God from within. God Himself has designed this temple.
·       Age of Meditation:
People in general consider that old age beyond 50 years is appropriate for this peruse. But one should develop the practice of meditation right from the time of attaining consciousness (4th year onwards) There are examples quoted in religious history who adopted meditation in early age. Esteemed Dhruv Bhagat, Prahlad Bhagat, Baba Farid Ji and many more. Everyone must maintain regularity and tend to increase the time devoted for meditation.
·       Suitable Time for Meditation:
In religious literature, suitable time suggested is between 2 to 5 a.m. because this period is free from noise and air pollution. More so, we can recollect and repeat God words during routine activities of sittings, walking, exercising, travelling, cooking, plough etc. Later on, we should daily spare a good time at safe and silent place in a sitting posture concentrating at spiritual eye centre. A few moments of prayers become more fruitful before starting a new activity, for example, reading, writing, appearing in examination, participating in competitions, driving etc. One must express reverence and gratitude to God on attaining success in any task.
  •   Steps observed during meditation:
  • The devotee should concentrate at the ‘deep sleep point’ or spiritual eye focus centre or ‘the spot of 10th Door.’
  • This point is located midway and slightly above the two eyes. In religious aspect, this seat is considered as a connecting place between mind and the soul.
  • If we continue repeating the God Words and raise our conscious to this level. We may develop contact with the bliss of divine melody (sound current).
  • The mind gets suppressed in oblivion but the soul becomes strong enough to establish direct link with the supreme power.
  • Our soul ascends from sole of feet to the spiritual eye centre. This process brings temporary but increasing numbness of body organs. The sensitivity of lower organs gets minimized. The soul current becomes strong enough to suppress the physical planes and the spirit continues its journey to visualize eternal home.
  • Thus with the concentration of soul at the higher centre, the physical body gets detached from the materialistic world. This can be compared with the phrase ‘Death during living state’.
  • There is feeling of distinct flavor, eminent light and divine melody when the person acquires the lofty stage of meditation. One experience the absolute peace and tranquility.
  • At the end of meditation, the body organs regain their consciousness and the soul returns to the physical body.
  • Never disclose God Words to anyone else because initiated words carry the blessing of the master.
  • Do not share the experiences of divine achievements of meditation with anyone.

          BENEFITS OF MEDITATION:
The advantages are enormous and many fold both in the materialistic and spiritual fields:
1.     Provide simplicity and humility in living style. It enables to fulfill human potentials.
2.    Induces purity in thoughts and actions.
3.    To understand that human life is with little spiritual experience but human beings are spiritual creation with limited human experience.

27.                    The existence of God words and God is eternal.
28.                   Meditation provides moral and spiritual strength.
29.                    It helps to stop fearful and unwanted dreams.
30.                   Coming generations develops good instincts and habits.
31. To make the soul free from worldly illusions and prepare it to merge with its source of creation.
32.                    Worldly creation is subject to dissolution.

Mis-concepts about Meditation:
Atheists do not believe in the existence of God. Therefore, they tend to propagate, against meditation on following grounds:
Ø God is presumed imagination of priests who try to exploit the masses.
Ø Meditation is an emotional surrender and mortgage of body.
Ø It is wastage of time and energy.
Ø Meditation is not a wonderstruck phenomenon which can transform the character of any person.
Ø Avoidance of misdeeds is the only way of achieving heaven.
Ø They don’t pay regards to saints and consider them simple human lugs.
Ø Such persons are self centered believing in pride, ego and accumulation of wealth. They don’t believe in soul and super soul, therefore, suffer with miseries.
The spiritual guide elaborates that calmness of mind, good concentration, clarity of perception, improvement in communication, blossoming of skills, unshakable inner strength, healings, capability to connect to the inner source of energy, relaxation, rejuvenation and building courage can be blessed through meditation.
The richest wealth is patience, health and wisdom. The best security is supreme faith. The greatest tonic is laughter and force of love. The surest assurance is hope of God. The source of strength is bliss of the Divine Lord achieved through meditation (surprisingly, all these are free).

The Attitude and Latitude of Forgiveness -Dr TN Chugh

The Attitude and Latitude of Forgiveness -Dr TN Chugh

The Attitude and Latitude of Forgiveness
Forgiveness is voluntary and intentional feeling to give up resentment from someone who has done something wrong. We should adopt a merciful tendency, without agitation, so that the victim realizes the fault. It has been observed that the victims also undergo a positive change in feelings and attitude regarding offense. Many persons get annoyed and angry at petty mistakes of others while great persons possess humility of forgiveness. Let us go out of negative emotions and do not expect compensation to forgive others for their faults. The Lord also commands us to repent on sins and seek His reverence in the form of forgiveness.

The words related to forgiveness are pardon, exculpate, exonerate, remission, condone, excuse, liberate etc. The person who work against this nobility, adopt abhor, despise, execrate, loathe, avenge, penalization and retaliation.

Passion to Adopt Forgiveness:
•         Forgiveness is not an instinct and choice but it is a skill which a person can develop through learning and understanding. Many persons acquire this noble quality through the supreme guidelines of religious ascetics, noble teachers and virtuous elderly persons.
•         The capacity of forgiveness has to be decided whether a person is trying to forgive one or others or seek remission for others. The status of crime also cannot be ignored.
•         The excellence of forgiveness can be obtained through introspection, sanctity and meditation. It is the divine blessing which wishes us to perform righteous actions. The quality of pardon is a strong spiritual attribute.
•         Presume glorious achievement when you forgive someone reflecting personal moral benefits.
•         Confer effective apology on understanding limits of offence quite different from your heart-felt kindness.
•         Develop sympathy to discard the feelings of anger and revenge to encourage the concept of humanity.
•         Forgiveness may consume time and energy because certain decisions are not instant. It may be in the form of condoning, excusing, pardoning, forgetting or reconciliation.
•         Do not indulge malpractices, harsh or quarrelsome actions which may turn to be sinful deed. It is not good to have friendship with people of evil and negative thinking.
•         Meditation helps us to live, love and progress with peace. Let us work at our regular meditation with commitment, patience and humility without expecting or demanding anything in return. Prayers and meditation can purify our mind, provide soul power tonic and elevate sublimity.

 Benefits of Forgiveness:

1.       Forgiveness is a kind and compassionate feeling to lead a blissful life. Forgiveness given or taken can be helpful in providing reconciliation and peace. Goodness in man is like fragrance in flowers.
2.       Strengthen relationship with friends and neighbors because certain events may be misappropriate, insulting or even quarrelsome. Such situations may cause disappointments and hurt our feelings of trust and commitments. Forgiveness at personal level or through certain mediator can resolve the misunderstanding and then motivate for better relations. Teachers should also acquire the quality of forgiveness to inspire their students.
3.       Improvement of family concerns: Sometimes, the incidents of true or false blaming appear among parents and children, brothers and sisters, husband and wife, family members of in-laws etc. All the members should adopt the feelings of co-operation, trustworthiness, commitment and sacrifice for harmony. Forgiveness stops the downward perception and improves our relations much before decline and termination.
4.       Promote tolerance and humility: The attitude of pardon is internal humane quality which will provide enduring peace of mind. However, the grudge creates tension for the victim and the sufferer. Forgiveness is not a sign of weakness, humiliation or dishonor.
5.       Create peace at national level: The passion of forgiveness with eminent politicians, administrators and statesmen can avoid enmity among co-workers and followers.
6.       Positive feeling is healthy and productive to reduce sufferings. The concept of ego,  ill-will, hatred, exploitation and superstition weakens your consciousness.
The Intensity of Crimes:

The extent and quality of offences are different which are forwarded to the court of laws for seeking justice. Certain misdoings are being mentioned here with enhancing trends:
•         Anger, complaint, disrespect, punishment through parents or teachers, quarrels due to difference in opinions among family members, do not feel sorry for mistake, creating tensions among neighbors or society, do not follow norms of traffic, delayed payments of debts, arrogance of pride etc.
•         Small accidents, beating, theft, non-payment of debt, corruption, termination from job without reason etc.
•         Large scale attack with attempt to murder, action of dacoit, property seizure, acid attack, violent assault on govt. official, incidents of rape etc.
Sometimes, the culprit remains un-identified; therefore, the instant forgiveness is difficult.

Eminent Agencies promoting Forgiveness:

Elderly and socially important persons or elected representatives of villages etc.try to resolve many issues through collective and timely meetings with culprit and the harmed individuals Their family members are also requested to approach for peaceful solution. Certain state governments have also appointed magistrates to decide the cases through settlements even   amongst the persons already involved in judicial courts. The criminals subjected to jails are also provided some relief on recommendations from police, when the prisoner adopts good behavior. The president of the country also has the right to review the judicial punishment to provide certain relief to the culprit. The person subjected for capital punishment may be provided long term imprisonment.

  Many important quotes promote forgiveness:
Ashta Vakra---Forgiveness is supreme peace. Take forgiveness as innocence, compassion, contentment and truth as nectar.
Mother Teresa---There are a few ways we can practice humanity: To speak as little as possible on oneself; To accept contradictions and corrections carefully; To pass-over mistakes of others; To accept insults and injuries; To accept being slighted, forgotten or disliked; To be kind and gentle even under provocations; Never stand on one’s dignity; To choose always the hardest.
C. S. Lewis---“I think that God forgives us, we must forgive ourselves, otherwise, it is almost setting up ourselves as higher tribunals than Him.
Joel Osteen---Keep in mind, hurting people hurt other people as a result of their pain. If somebody is rude and inconsiderate, you can almost be certain that they have some unresolved issues inside. They have some major problems, anger, resentment or heart-ache, they are trying to cope with or overcome. The last thing they need is for you to make matters worse by responding angrily.
Martin Luther King---Forgiveness is not occasional art, it is constant attitude.
Alexander Pope---To err is human and to forgive Divine.

Divine aspects of Forgiveness:

The prominent philosophers belonging to various religions consider that our misdoings and wrong actions against any person, society or nation as sins. The disobedience of moral laws (divine command) creates tensions, anguish, pain and suffering in our mind that we have acted against the divine power. We should repent on our sins to seek His forgiveness. We can acquire relief, comfort and even pleasure if we focus our attention. We should adopt virtuous principles of humility and humanity. We should provide moral and financial help to the needy. The concept of forgiveness changes bitterness to love. Actually there is not much difference between human and divine forgiveness, therefore, one should forgive with sincere mind and willing spirit. Be merciful because God is merciful. Give the world, the best you have anyway. Forgiveness is not a feeling; it is a supreme attribution through strong personalities. Hindu priests treat forgiveness as ‘khshma’. This noble quality can be granted through spiritual kindness, tenderness and compassion. This achievement can be promoted through purity of thoughts, tolerance, courage and meditation
