Pharmacy Lecturer from SIRSA presents paper at International Symposium

Mr. Sameer Dhingra, Sr. Lecturer at Lord Shiva College of Pharmacy, Sirsa and a Research Scholar of Guru Jambeshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar presented a paper “Stress Models of Depression” in International Symposium on Advances in Neurosciences & Silver Jubilee Conference of the Indian Academy of Neurosciences that was held at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India in the last week of November 07.The theme of the Conference was “Molecular and Cellular Basis of Brain Functions and Disorders”. It encompassed various topics including brain development, regenration and aging, neurotransmitters, neurophysiology and neuroendocrinology system neurobiology, disorders of the nervous system etc., which were attended by a large gathering of scientists from different parts of the world. Mr. Dhingra told Sirsa News that the presentation was appreciated from all fronts and there was a fruitful interaction with the neuroscientists from various countries.


Mr. Dhingra appreciated the democratic set up of the management of Lord Shiva College of Pharmacy and said that this college encouraged its faculty members to participate in such symposiums.
