Ashok Garg IAS former DC Sirsa has been deputed in Sirsa District for planning, coordination, monitoring the implementation of all activities for the prevention and control of the spread of COVI-19, the order was passed 0n 25th March 2019 by Keshni Anand Arora, Chief Secretary to Govt Haryana.

Coronavirus: Schedule to open shops supplying essential goods; Milk dairy will be open from 7 am to 9 am; fruit and vegetables from 9 am to 3 pm and Kiryana shops will remain open from 9 am to 5 pm in Sirsa.

Deputy Commissioner Sirsa, Ramesh Chandra Bidhan IAS told that the supply of essential items of daily life will not be interrupted due to the lockdown implemented by the government. Strong arrangements have been made by the administration for the same.

He told that during Lockdown people should stay in their homes and follow the instructions given by the district administration. He said that in Lockdown, a time limit has been fixed by the administration for the supply of the essential supplies and essential services, so that people do not have any inconvenience for everyday items.

He informed that Milk & dairy products will be open for sale from 7 am to 9 am. The shops for Fruit and Vegetables have been set from 9 am to 3 pm and the time to open the Kirayana shops from 9 am to 5 pm. He said that if any shopkeeper is found to be in violation of the prescribed time limit, legal action will be taken against him as per rules. The Deputy Commissioner said that all the medical halls, fruit and vegetable vendors, grocery shopkeepers, milk vendors etc. in the district will strictly follow the social distance (three feet/ one meter) parameters at their respective places, otherwise, legal action will be taken against them. He has directed the officials concerned to implement these orders strictly.
