A Dharna in protest ended up in verbal dual between public, representatives of Public and the Executive Engineer (XEN) Public Health Mr. Jangra. The public was protesting about callous approach of the department in cleaning up choked sewerages in Sirsa.

Hoshiari Lal Sharma, Hardas Rinku MC, Ramesh Mehta MC etc also had heated arguments with the officer over this issue. SDM Sirsa Mr. Roshan Lal had to intervene and pacify people after assurance from Mr. Jagdish Jangra XEN that the complaints shall be addressed immediately. Public Health department had been in NEWS since last several weeks for overflowing sewage, missing manhole covers and highly contaminated water in almost all parts of Sirsa. (See Video)
