Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced more than Rs.300 Crore development projects for
Ratia constituency worth while addressing a massive rally held in Ratia on
Saturday.
While
speaking during the thanksgiving rally organised at Anaj Mandi, Hooda said he
had come to thank voters of Ratia for voting for their candidate, Jarnail
Singh, and also to fulfil his promise to make Ratia a model constituency in the
entire state.
The
special package worth R300 crore is for constructing village streets, sports
stadium, setting up primary health centre in Ratia, constructing link and
approach roads connecting villages, setting up girls college, up gradation of
various government schools, setting up of grain and vegetable market, setting up
power station and land for auto market.
Dr. Ashok
Tanwar, MP form Sirsa and Secretary AICC who was entrusted the campaign of
Ratia bypoll said with Jarnail Singh’s victory, the strength of Congress MLAs
has increased to 46, which means now the party is self sufficient though they
have support of Independent candidates as well.
Tanwar
said the win of Jarnail singh will usher into an era of development not only
for Ratia but for the whole state. He quipped that This is a just a prelude of
the main picture ahead.
Minister
of state and Sirsa MLA Gopal Kanda said, “From Sirsa he had chased Chautala and
his sons out and after defeating them from Ratia, voters here have shooed them
away, now time has come for OP Chautala to retire from active politics.”
