Sunday 6th
may was dedicated to the fond memory of Late Dr Surender Verma a renowned
'Sahityakar' of Sirsa. A program of Gazals, poetry and even POP music was the main recipe that enthralled
the audience at Yuvak Sahita Sadan Hall Sirsa.
The program was organised under
the banner of ‘Haryana Pradeshik Hindi Sahitya Sammelan SIRSA chapter. Dr DD
Verma was the chief guest, while it was presided over by Sh Ram Sarup Rikhi. Prof
Roop Devgun president of ‘Haryana Pardeshik Hindi Sahitya Sammelan’ SIRSA
chapter, anchored the stage.

of Jaipur National University from Nigeria. Madan Kaushik Manjar etc. Many of
them rendered Gazals penned by Late Dr. Surender Verma.
