Ultrasound Machines is Active. While demonstrating the working of system to
SirsaNews, Dr. Viresh Bhushan Dy. CMO Sirsa explained that this will keep a
check on all the machines in Sirsa round the clock and shall also be a taboo on
this social evil of gender determination. The central station for the
monitoring all the Ultrasound Scan machines is at Civil Hospital Sirsa. Sirsa
is 2nd District in Haryana after Jhajjar to get this Tracking.

The System works through secure and dynamic web site MeriGudia. The technical knowhow and infrastructure has been provided by Magnum Opus which is a pioneer in M&E-Governance in India. Dr J Ganesan DC Sirsa keen interest in getting this tracker for Sirsa. Dr Ashok Tanwar formally inaugurated the already active facility on 5th Jan 2013. Owners of some of the Ultra Sound Centre establishments also said that this is a boon for them to ward off unethical demands from the patients. Now it has become easier to say ‘NO’ strongly to anyone who shall come with such a demand.
