Shri. Om Prakash Chautala
today addressed his supporters , expressed gratitude for their enormous support
and stated ‘ the increase in the vote percentage is a testimony of INLD’s
strength’, he also defined Indian National Lok Dal as a people’s party, truly
for the people and by the people of Haryana.
He is contented to see that
INLD as a party has successfully bridged the distance between a ‘Rural Vote
Bank’ to an ‘Urban Vote Bank’ , with an increased number in votes. Shri. Om Prakash
Chautala also expressed heartiest appreciation for his party members on their
hard work in the absence of senior party leaders and congratulated them.
Mean while several politicians and prominent persons called upon Sh Chautala at Medanta hospital after his successful Pace Maker Implant, these include Maneka Gandhi, Gen VK Singh Retd, Governor Haryana Sh JN Pahadia, CM Haryana Sh BS Hooda, Dy CM Punjab S Sukhbir Singh Badal, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Kumari Selja, Sunil Shastri son of Sh Lal Bahdur Shastri, BJP Leaders, Baba Ramdev etc to name a few.
Shri. Om Prakash Chautala
affirmed, “INLD has always worked towards the development of the state and its
people. Hence, we are positive that we will receive immense support and the
party will surely swipe the upcoming Haryana elections.” He added, “INLD as a party can stand strong
without any alliance or collaboration.”
“The perception that INLD has lost in the race
may appear to be euphoric outwardly, which is merely a mirage. The increase in
the vote numbers evidently reflect that INLD has come out unbeaten and has
given a clear competition to other parties. It is a major embarrassment for
Haryana Chief Minister on losing his home ground, thus, the confidence of
public. It clearly indicates that Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda will encounter
tough competition in the forthcoming elections and the question to be asked is
- How would he run the government, when he cannot even manage his home ground”,
said Shri. Om Prakash Chautala.
In the past few years, INLD
has not contested in cities within Haryana because of alliance with BJP.
However, this time considering the support the party has been receiving throughout,
it can be affirmed that INLD undoubtedly has a strong presence across Haryana.
