Kaithal Lawyers are
boycotting DC’s court indefinitely alleging misbehavior
Accusing the deputy
commissioner RP Gupta of misbehaving with lawyers for the second time, the
District Bar Association Kaithal had decided to indefinitely boycott his court
till he is transferred from Kaithal. Ashok Gautam president district bar said
that lawyers were agitated over the alleged misbehavior of DC with them on many
occasions.
He said that this was
for the second time that lawyers were forced to take this unpleasant decision
He said earlier too about two months ago, the lawyers boycotted Gupta's court
due to his rude behaviour however the official invited them for talks and the
matter was resolved and then they withdrew boycott of his court .
However the official has
not changed his behaviour with lawyers. He said in the latest instance a lawyer
who appeared before Gupta on Tuesday he was not properly heard.
