ONE KILLED IN ROAD MISHAP.
A woman was killed on the spot when the motor cycle she was riding on, along with her husband was hit by a speeding truck near the local ‘Tara Baba Ki Kutiya’on the Sirsa-Rania road today. The deceased was identified as Reshama alias Ramesh Rani (22) who was recently married in village Nagoke (Sirsa) and was 8 months preganant. She was on her way to village Mangala to attend a marriage at her parent’s house when the mishap took place. The Sirsa police have registered a case against unidentified truck driver and have started investigations to nab the culprit.
MAN KILLED OVER PANCHAYAT LAND DISPUTE.
A man identified as Ram Saroop Kumhar a resident of village Sikanderpur was murdered over a panchayat land dispute today. The Sirsa Sadar police have registered a case of murder against Dewan Chand on the basis of a complaint filed by deceased’s son and have started investigation to nab the culprit.
ARRESTED ABSCONDER FLEES FROM NEGLIGENT PUNJAB POLICE.
An absconder from Punjab police who was recently arrested by Sirsa police and handed over to the Punjab cops once again gave a slip to the negligent Punjab police personnel and fled from their custody near village Kheraka (Sirsa) when he was being taken to Punjab. The Sirsa Sadar Police have registered a case under sections 223,224,225 of the IPC against Satinder Singh and Sukha Singh Head Constables of Punjab Police and the absconder Hem Raj and have started investigations.
