The appeals for ‘Say No To Crackers’ fell on deaf ears, the excitement of India’s most popular festival, the Festival of Lights (and of Crackers) was overwhelming and every one from 7 years old to 70 years old was into fireworks. But the joy on the faces was worth watching irrespective of the appendage of smoke and suspended particles to environment.
