Various organisation of
Sirsa under the umbrella of Nagrik Parishad took out Candle Light Protest March
was taken out from Subhash Chowk Sirsa, protesting against the heinous gang rape
of a 23yrs physiotherapy girl student in Delhi who later succumbed to her injuries at a Singapore Hospital.
The protestors demanded for exemplary punishment to all the accused. Later Dr
Ashok Tanwar also expressed deep grief over the happenings and said that the
incident has brought shame to the nation.
