The 3 day forty-first Annual Athletic meet at Govt Polytechnic Sirsa concluded today at the institute campus. Principal Er. Sudhir Gilhotra was the chief guest at the occasion, while Er. Jagdish Chander whose retirement is very near and has witnessed more than 30 athletic meets of Polytechnics was guest of honour. A musical chair feat, jokes and songs by students and Bhangra performance was cheered by students. In his valedictory speech principal, Er. Sudhir Gilhotra said that athletics is an integral part of any educational curriculum, its importance cannot be undermined even in today’s highly careers oriented scenario, he was happy to note that all the students faculty members and staff had made this event a big success. The enthusiasm shown by one and all is really commendable. Er. Pushpender anchored the stage ably, while Er. Krishan Kumar prepared the results and media release.
