The Hooda Govt. under the able Guidance of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and PM Manmohan Singh had been providing equal opportunities to ‘Chattis Biradari’ of Haryana. Dabwali which is a Punjabi dominated constituency had played a major role in uprooting the dictatorial Rule of INLD and the Chautala Family, with over 70% Punjabis in this constituency, today through this rally we the Punjabis of this Assembly Constituency request and demand from Congress Party President to allot ticket to a Punjabi of this constituency in the forthcoming assembly elections. Moreover in this constituency only a Punjabi can win the seat with comfortable margin.

August 6 and 7 were days of Dharnaas and strikes by employees of PSO Banks and College Lecturers raising their various demands. While the strike by the banks affected public dealings with the banks as well as business & merchandise operations. The college teachers strike was a kind of surprise for students who have come over to attend classes from different areas, seeing the teachers in role reversal, as students are notoriously famous for abstaining from classes, these two days it was the teachers who shunned delivering lectures. The Haryana Govt. College Teachers Association is pressing for revised scales. Faculties of CMK Girls College Sirsa, Govt National College Sirsa, and the faculty members of teaching Department of CDLU staged sit-ins at their college premises for two consecutive days by taking mass casual leave.
