Dr. Rajender Sra, flanked by Mrs Poonam Monga & Mr. Verma while talking to electronic media at the premises of his new venture ‘Rajendra Public School’ said that this school is his brain/dream child of providing quality education at affordable cost not just to the urban students but also to the students from the rural side.
He said that he shall look into the aspects that if any child wants to pursue a certain career why he should not get familiar with it at the school level.

Dr. Rajender Sra who is an eminent pediatrician, is equally famous for setting up of a number of educational institutes in SIRSA.

Mrs. Poonam Monga director education said that there was a very warm response to the admission process even for the very first entrance test held recently.

Mr. Verma who shall look into administrative matters and many of the faculty members were also present.

Mr. Virender Kaushik, State President, Students Organization of the Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) addressed a congregation of Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) workers at Janta Bhawan Sirsa yesterday, there after while talking to the press, he said that Students are pillars of any nation and Mr. Kuldeep Bishnoi’s party shall restore the disbanded College and University student’s council elections.

He stated that Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) is not going to have any poll alliance with any party and said that Mr. Kuldeep Bishnoi might look into such a possibility at a later stage.

He said that if Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) is voted to power in Haryana, the party shall make sure that large industries such as Maruti & Honda in Haryana give priority to Haryana domicile holders while giving jobs, this way the problem of unemployment can be contained.

Commenting on the denial by central Law minister for a separate High Court for Haryana, Mr. Kaushik replied that Haryana Janhit Congress (BL) shall see to it that Haryana should have separate High Court, its own capital, and immediate completion of SYL Canal etc.
Mr. Veerbhan addressed villagers at Jodhkan village today, he accused that the present Congress Govt. has left behind the infamous INLD in the race of corruption. He said that shortage of water, electricity and cooking gas has made the lives of people of Haryana pathetic. He claimed that people of Haryana have already made up their mind to bring Ch. Kuldeep Bishnoi to power in Haryana in the next elections.

Veteran Super Star of Bollywood and BJP MP from Bikaner-Rajsthan, Mr. Dharmender Deol and another actor of Punjabi films Mr. Yogesh Chabra, visited Sirsa for a couple of hours day before yesterday. Dharmender was on his way from Sahnewala (Ludhiana) to Bikaner en-route Sirsa. He also went to see Taarkeshwaram Dham at Rania Road SIRSA. He was swarmed by his fans and media persons. Mr. Dharmender patiently gave them autographs and posed with them for a photo click. BJP leaders Ms. Jaswinder Pal Pinky & Ms. Lakhwinder Kaur Bajwa flanked the superstar, Mr. Rohtash Jangira, Satpal Mehta, Darshan Lal Mehta, Ajay Goura etc. were also present.

Mahender Singh, a mason and resident of Ellenabad town, was buried in a 30 feet deep trench when he was engaged in laying the pipes for the deep sewerage system by the Public Health Department near the Mameran road Bypass at Ellenabad.

While he, along with other labourers, was busy in laying down the pipes yesterday, a big mound of loose earth suddenly fell upon him. Fellow labourers raised an alarm and rescue work started.

On getting the information SDM Subhash Sheoran accompanied by Tehsildar Paramjit Chahal, SDO Public Health C.M. Sayal and a team of doctors arrived on the spot to supervise the rescue operations.

Rescue operations that lasted more than an hour of careful removal of the loose earth, pulled out the mason alive from the trench. He was immediately rushed to a Govt. Health centre where his condition was stated to be stable.

Farmers desiring copy of their land records falling in Dabwali and Sirsa Tehsil shall get them delivered at their home, and that too with the ease of just a phone call.

Mr. PC Bidhan Commissioner (Hisar) inaugurated the Jamabandi on Phone service at the Tehsil office SIRSA today in the presence of deputy commissioner Mr. V Umashankar. The phone no. for this service is 01666-248130. Anyone who wants to avail this service has to pay Rs100 as fees towards home delivery of the copies of the Jambandi in addition to the normal fees that is chargeable to procure such documents. A part of this Rs100 shall go towards the fuel expenses to be met in delivering the document, and the rest shall go the district welfare fund for the children. Mr. V. Umashankar said that apart from providing hassle free procurement of Fard & Naqal Jamabandi, the service shall also approximately generate more than Rs 1.5 lac just from Sirsa Tehsil.

Earlier also Haryana Government has been on the forefront in making available land records to its people via its website http://www.jamabandi.nic.in/ since October 2006, (SirsaNews reported it) though the website has its own problems which need to be sorted out, still it is proving to be beneficial for remote access to the land records.

District and Sessions Judge, H.P. Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Mr. V. Umashankar and SP Sirsa, Mr. Vikas Arora flagged off an all women mobile PCR van, JCDV, director general Dr. Kuldip Singh Dhindsa, BSNL area manager Mr. Gobind Gupta and a large number of women teachers and students were present at the flag off.

Mr. Vikas SP told SIRSA NEWS, that this service shall put a taboo on eve teasers chain snatchers and other such crimes to which women are gullible. He said that any woman who wanted to lodge a complaint could now call on a toll free number 1090 or a mobile number 98963 21001 and the PCR would reach the spot in no time.

After receiving the complaint of the woman, the PCR team would issue a receipt of the complaint on the spot and after registering of the FIR, a copy shall be handed to the complainant woman at her address.

The Akhil Bhartiya Jeev Raksha Bishnoi Sabha (ABJRBS) yesterday demanded the immediate expulsion of ace cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni from the country's cricket team for sacrificing an animal.

The ABJRBS district president, Mr Raj Kumar Beniwal, appealed to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president, Mr. Sharad Pawar, to remove Dhoni from the Indian team with immediate effect, issuing the warning that if the Jharkhand player was not shown the door, the Bishnoi Sabha would drag the cricketer to the court of law.
“He committed a sin by sacrificing a lamb after fulfilling his vow,” Mr Beniwal said, claiming Bishnois would go to any extent to save trees and animals anywhere in the country and reminded how the community had got actor Salman Khan penalised for killing a black buck.

Two mechanics Sonu & Sukha of a local car garage, ‘Happy Motor Works’, were found dead in the garage due to what seems to be asphyxia. It is said that the two mechanics who had been working till quiet late in the night on rebuilding of a Car engine opted to sleep in the garage itself. After rebuilding of the engine they kept the engine in running (start) condition for the run in period that is a usual practice when an engine is rebuild in local garages.

It is believed that the closed garage took the lives of the mechanics, as emission of poisonous gases from the car exhaust would have accumulated in the garage from the running car engine.

Addressing at national conference, ‘Managing Growth of Indian Economy’ held at Jan Nayak Ch. Devilal Vidyapeeth (JCDV) Prof. Brock Dykeman, Acting Dean International Education of Malaspina University, CANADA, said that India as well many countries of the world should take lessons from the stable nature of the economy of China. He said while world over investors get a nightmare of fluctuating Economic Growth Rates, China has proved its self by maintaining a Stable Economic Growth Rate. China has made it possible due to the participation of its all classes and regions in the Economy of the Country. He said that China has kept its economic growth at a relatively stable pace and has guarded itself against a rapid rise in fixed asset investment.
(Malaspina University is a famous university of CANADA situated in British Columbia’s Picturesque Vancouver islands.)

The conference was also addressed by Prof. H.L. Verma Ex. Pro Vice Chancellor CCS HAU Hisar. He said that while 19th century was of the British, 20th Century was of the USA, India shall hold the forte of 21st century.
This is second national conference held at JCDV under the acumanship of Dr. Kuldeep Dhindsa Director JCDV, while addressing the audience Dr. Dhindsa said that it is heartening to note that India has an impressive growth rate of around 9% but the agony is that we cannot term this Economic Growth Rate to be successful till all sections especially the poor benefit from it.

1994 Grammy Award winner, the famous Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and his equally famous Tabla accompanist Ustad Akarm Khan of Meerut’s Ajrada Gharana, performed yesterday at the Jan Nayak Ch. Devilal Vidyapeeth (JCDV) auditorium. He left the audience spell bound with his Mohan Veena an instrument which Bhatt has carved out of Hawaiian Guitar by integrating some of the nuances of Sitar, Sarod & Veena. Mohan Veena, is a nineteen string modified arch top guitar with three melody strings, four drone strings and twelve sympathetic strings.

Addressing media persons at the residence of Dr. Kuldeep Dhindsa, he said that music should not be just the monopoly of the Bollywood. He said that when there is no dearth of channels on different subjects like NEWS, Animals, Science, Religions, Sports, Kids, Cartoons, Films & Film Music, Soap Operas, etc. there should be a channel fully dedicated to Classical Music also.

A delegation of HUJ members led by Mr. Bhupinder Dharmani, state president HUJ, left from SIRSA, yesterday, to attend a 3 day national conference of NUJ (NATIONAL UNION OF JOURNALISTS) at Hyderabad. The conference shall be held in Hyderabad, from 3rd to 5th March 2008.

Mr. Baljeet Singh district president HUJ (Haryana Union of Journalists) informed SIRSA NEWS that this way the delegates shall be able to interact with journalists from all over India, and shall also know about some regions of Southern India in persona.
