MM College Fatehabad Two Day Seminar on Environmental Issues: Impact Control and Challenges, was held on 9th and 10th March 2018. In this Video: Dr Gurcharan Das, Principal briefs about the seminar. It we don’t care much environment, coming future will be in dark. It is human duty that one got to keep environment safe and healthy, only then our life can be secured. To create awareness about the environment M.M.P.G. College, Fatehabad has taken an initiative to organize two days seminar. This seminar is sponsored by DGHE, Haryana for organizing two day Seminar in this college for creating awareness about Environment. Dr. R.K. Kohli, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Punjab, Bathinda as a Chief Guest in the Seminar. Dr. Vikram Singh, Dean of Colleges, C.D.L.U., Sirsa and Dr. Rajesh Bansal, Controller of Examinations were there as a Guest of Honour.  As per tradition, the programme started with the enlightment of the lamp the ceremony by Chief Guests. Sh. Rajiv Batra, President M.M. College presided the Seminar.
Subject of our seminar is “Environment Impact, issues, Control and Challenges”. Many deligates and researchers will express their view or serious thoughts on this profound subject of Environment for couple of days.

Prof. R.K. Kohli pleaded to be Roll model for Public. For creating awareness among the people. As Science has got us everything, from other side there are natural calamity happening rapidly saving. Environment is a great challenge for us. It has become worldwide problem now. Including trees, human beings, birds etc. all are badly affected with Deforestation and Land slide are increasing day by day. About 8000 Million tons soil is eroded every year. Fertile land becomes barren. Mr. Bansal stated that it is everyone’s responsibility to save environment. He added that in the last few days the problem of smog was prominent and we always blamed farmers for this problem. Yet we are responsible for destroying environment by using A.C. and Refrigerator.

Principal Dr. Gurcharan Dass promotes this Seminar by sharing his views regarding Environmental Pollution. He said that we must aware coming generation for Environmental Pollution, otherwise our life will be wrecked. Dr. Sanjeev Trikha explore the Environmental Issues by saying that we should   conserve our environment on individual level by avoiding use of Polythene and planting trees.

Prof. Vishnu Bhagwan and Dr. Arti Gaur as Chaired the First and Second technical session.                  Dr. Rishipal as a Resource person in second technical session. Prof. Mahesh Mehta and Prof. Pratibha Makhija was Coordinator during the technical sessions. Many delegates and Research scholars presented their papers in the Seminar. Prof. Mahesh Mehta, Dr. Geetu and  Ms. Tanya did wonderful anchoring and kept the delegates and staff members in high spirits.

All the members of Teaching and Non Teaching staff were present on that occasion.
