Rich Tributes paid to Shahid Madan Lal Dhingra on his martyrdom day

On this occasion, the President of the Nagrik Parishad, Jagdish Chopra
said that Madan Lal Dhingra was an unparalleled revolutionary of the Indian
freedom struggle. The credit for turning the spark of Indian freedom into fire
goes to the great martyr Madan Lal Dhingra. Even though there was no such
tradition of patriotism in Madan Lal Dhingra's family, he himself was painted
in the color of patriotism. He was studying in England where he shot and killed
a British officer named William Hutt Curzon Wyllie. He was prosecuted on July
23, 1909 for the murder of Curzon Wyllie. Sh Jagdish Chopra said, “We should
not only talk about rights but should also follow our duties, only then the
country will become number one.”
BJP District President Advocate Yatindra Singh said that Amar Shaheed
Madan Lal Dhingra sacrificed his life for the country. Taking inspiration from
his sacrifice, we all should work in the interest of the country. We should
give a befitting reply to the anti-national people.

President Sh Ramesh Mehta said that Madan Lal Dhingra intensified the freedom
struggle by sacrificing his life at a very young age. He said that on the day
of Madan Lal Dhingra's sacrifice, we all should pledge to do something for the
country, this would be the real tribute to him.
On this occasion, Chairman of Nagrik Parishad Jagdish Chopra, Secretary
Surendra Bhatia, senior journalist and Citizen Council member Gurjeet Mann,
Prof. Ravindra Puri, Advocate A.C. Sihag, Harbans Narang were present.
