S. Preetam Singh Khosa, elder brother of S Malkiat Singh Khosa President Distt Congress Committee Sirsa breathed his last on 13^th October 2013. He was Ex Chairman of PLD Bank Ellenabad. His son S Balraj Singh Khosa Advocate is president of Bar Association Ellenabad. The BHOG and Antim Ardas of Preetam Singh Khosa will be held on 23^rd October 2013 at his residence in Village Mouju Khera, Teh Ellenabad. He is survived by his three brothers, Harnek Singh Khosa, Malkiat Singh Khosa and Gurcharan Singh Khosa, and 3 sons, Gamdoor, Surender and Balraj. He was 79 years old. His father S Maghi Singh Namberdar was also a well known person in the area.

Sh Veerbhan Mehta a prominent leader of Haryana JanHit Congress said Alvida Kuldeep Bishnoi in presence of a large number of his flowers and supporters at Karyakarta Meeting held on 16th October at Rachna Palace Sirsa. The Palace was full to its brims when Mehta announced his detachment to HJC(BL).

Veerbhan left Congress to Join Kuldeep Bishnoi’s HJC(BL) six years ago on Haryana day in 2007.

He took a meeting with top brass of administration, In this Video he speaks to media about eradication of corruption. He also said that it is equally important to build character along with use of law to control corruption. Also mentioned that all complaints regarding corruption will be taken seriously, he said that there had been no submission of any evidence in the form of CD or what ever regarding the recently raised issue of CLU scam by INLD. Dr J Ganesan DC Sirsa, Saurabh Singh SSP Sirsa, and other officers were also present at the meeting held at Panchayat Bhawan Sirsa.

This was maiden visit of LOKAYUKAT Haryana to Sirsa since his appointment in January 2011. 

Know your LOKAYUKAT: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE PRITAM PAL

Born on June 3rd, 1947 in the family of a Farmer of District Yamuna Nagar

of Haryana, He graduated from Panjab University, Chandigarh in the year 1969. Earned his Law Degree in July, 1972 from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Practised on Criminal, Civil and Revenue side for 14 years, first at District Courts, Karnal and then Kurukshetrra. In March 1986, selected in the Superior Judicial Service and joined as Additional District and Sessions Judge, in the State of Haryana. Thereafter, designated as District & Sessions Judge, remained posted as such in the District of Mohindergarh at Narnaul, Rohtak, Bhiwani and Faridabad.

Then from January 28, 2002 to November 04, 2004 served as Registrar General of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, at Chandigarh. Elevated as a Permanent Judge, to the Bench of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh on November 05, 2004. During his tenure as Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, disposed of 6879 main cases in addition to other miscellaneous applications/matters. Thereafter attaining the age of superannuation, retired on 2.6.2009.

Then, on the recommendation of the Hon’ble Chief Justice, Punjab and Haryana High Court, His Excellency Governor of Punjab appointed him as President of the State Consumer Commission, U.T., Chandigarh. He worked there upto 17.01.2011 and thereafter, was appointed as Lokayukta, Haryana. His Excellency, the Governor of Haryana has administered him the oath of office of Lokayukta, Haryana on 18.01.2011.

S. Gurchet Singh Sidhu, a PIOUS and well known personality breathed his last on 29th September 2013 after a brief illness. He was 65.

His BHOG and ANTIM ARDAS will be held on 6th October from 12PM to 1PM near his residence at Railway Gurdwara Mal Godaam Road Shastri Colony Sirsa. (Street- Holi Nursing Home/Kulwant Rai Jindal Advocate)

Apart from being a very good farmer, He was Numberdar of village Mallewala, SIRSA, 3 times unanimous Sarpanch of Villlage Mallewala, Ex MD of Krishna Goods Transport, and one of the directors of Mewat Transport Ltd New Delhi. He was well traveled in India and abroad. He had lived in Canada and USA. He was known for his values, helpfulness, cheerfulness and secularism.

He is survived by his one sister, three sons, three daughters and their children.

His sons:- Gurdarshan Singh Sidhu is a Lawyer at Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, Gurvinder Singh Sidhu works for Revenue Australia in Sydney, Sarbjeet Singh Sidhu is a Sr Consultant in Accenture in San Francisco USA.  His son in laws, Gurjeet Singh Mann, Narinder Singh Dandiwal & Gursharn Singh Bhullar are also well settled. His Bhanja Taqdeerjit Singh Kunder is a landlord and Entrepreneur from Village Odhan.
