S. Gurchet Singh Sidhu, a PIOUS and well known personality breathed his last on 29th September 2013 after a brief illness. He was 65.

His BHOG and ANTIM ARDAS will be held on 6th October from 12PM to 1PM near his residence at Railway Gurdwara Mal Godaam Road Shastri Colony Sirsa. (Street- Holi Nursing Home/Kulwant Rai Jindal Advocate)

Apart from being a very good farmer, He was Numberdar of village Mallewala, SIRSA, 3 times unanimous Sarpanch of Villlage Mallewala, Ex MD of Krishna Goods Transport, and one of the directors of Mewat Transport Ltd New Delhi. He was well traveled in India and abroad. He had lived in Canada and USA. He was known for his values, helpfulness, cheerfulness and secularism.

He is survived by his one sister, three sons, three daughters and their children.

His sons:- Gurdarshan Singh Sidhu is a Lawyer at Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, Gurvinder Singh Sidhu works for Revenue Australia in Sydney, Sarbjeet Singh Sidhu is a Sr Consultant in Accenture in San Francisco USA.  His son in laws, Gurjeet Singh Mann, Narinder Singh Dandiwal & Gursharn Singh Bhullar are also well settled. His Bhanja Taqdeerjit Singh Kunder is a landlord and Entrepreneur from Village Odhan.
