hand bottom corner of Video Window) The program is part of National Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Awareness Week that was launched at Village Kankrola-Bhanglora of Gurgaon District in Haryana. The week long campaign inaugurated by Shri Birender Singh, Union Minister for Rural Development , Drinking Water and Sanitation and Panchayati Raj will conclude at Kohima, Nagaland on 22nd March commemorating the celebration of World Water Day. During the campaign, there will be an extensive awareness drive on construction and use of household toilets, keeping the villages clean, safe handling and use of drinking water, awareness of quality of drinking water, water conservation, community managed water supply systems in rural areas involving grassroots level institutions like Village Water and Sanitation Committees, Panchayati Raj Institutions, Angwanwadi , ASHA Workers, schools teachers, Women Self Help Groups and Youth Clubs.
At the national level, Ten Swachhata Raths and mobile water quality testing vans were dispatched to various parts of the districts to create awareness among the rural masses. Similar programmes were also organized in other parts of the country. This programme is being carried out across the country in all Panchayats involving Ministries of Rural Development, Health & Family Welfare, Panchayati Raj, Women & Child Development among others.
After unexpected escalated rain activity
in the month of March after several years that is continuing to worry farmers
and have damaged wheat and mustard crops at several pockets in Punjab Haryana
and Rajasthan, today’s foggy morning followed by a sunny day may be an
indication of few no-rain days ahead much to the respite of the farmers.

Portal today at SP Office Mini Secretariat Sirsa yesterday
The Haryana Police Citizen Service Portal
was launched in the first fortnight of January 2015, The Har Samay window
service set up at the ground floor of SP office will facilitate those without internet
services to lodge their complaints via this service. After lodging the complaint
the complaint number will also be received by SMS on the Mobile Phone of the complainant.
DSP HQ Jagdish Kajla, DSP Ravinder Sinwar
and other officers were present at the inauguration.

Haryana Police Citizen Service Portal has
been launched recently. The Web Portal is www.haryanapoliceonline.gov.in.

Sirsa district police will also start
updating it every day very soon. Several complaints of the public can be made
online on the portal in future. The reports and notices about missing persons
shall also be available online.
RTI to get any information on this website can
be applied online. Hotels and cyber cafe of district have been advised to
complete their registration details on the portal. This would be beneficial to
both the public and the police. Police Spokesman Surjeet Saharan informed

The
name of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) MP from Hisar, Dushyant Chautala,
has been included in the Limca Book of Records for being the youngest MP in the
country.
Dushyant Chautala S/o Sh Ajay Singh Chautala INLD leader from Sirsa was 26
years and a month old when he was elected MP from Hisar in parliamentary
elections last year, thus becoming the youngest MP in the 16th Lok Sabha.
His
name had been included in the latest edition of the Limca Book of Records which
was released on January 21 in Jaipur.
Dushyant
Chautala is Grandson of Ch Om Parkash Chautala, INLD supremo and former CM
Haryana and is grandson of legendary Ch Devi Lal Ex Deputy Prime Minister of
India.
The INLD media cell claimed that Dushyant had attended all the sessions of the
Parl
iament, asked 165 questions and participated in discussions on various
bills.
