CHAUTALA PROMISES TO REMOVE TRADERS’ GRIEVANCES.
Former Haryana Chief Minister and INLD supreme Om Prakash Chautala while Sirsa traders late last night assured them that if his party to power in the state, he would implement all the recommendations of the Trader’s Committee. He claimed that there was strong under current of resentment and anger amongst the common public against the Congress Governments both in the State as well at the Centre for pursuing anti-people policies. Mr. Chautala alleged large scale bungling and cheating with the farmers in the promotion of SEZs in the state. He alleged that all sections of society including traders, Students, employees were disenchanted with the so called progressive policies of the Congress and wanted immediate change in the Government. He said the farming community was badly affected in the state due to acute shortage of water and power and hardly any day passes when the farmers do not protest against the present Government and block highways to protest these shortages. He declared that the INLD would hold protests against these shortages and also against the bungling in preparing the lists of families living below Poverty lines at all district Head quarters in the state on September 01.





INLD TAKS OUT PROTEST MARCH IN SIRSA.
Hundreds of INLD (Indian National Lok Dal) workers and party's sympathizers led by Party’s district president Padam Jain and former MLA Bhagiram today took out a protest march against acute power and water shortages, bungling in the preparation of the BPL lists and Government’s failure to procure ‘Bajra’ on the minimum support price (MSP) of Rs.840.00 per Quintal. The protesters assembled in the local Anaj Mandi from where they started their march. While addressing them Mr. Jain alleged that the Haryana Government has failed on all fronts and can not even provide sufficient drinking or irrigation water or the Power to the farmers for running their tube wells. He alleged that the ‘Bajra’ crop is not being procured at the MSP and instead it was being purchased at a throwaway price of Rs 700.00 per quintal thereby causing heavy losses to the famers. The slogan shouting protesters after passing through the main streets of the town arrived at the Mini secretariat where they handed over a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner.
