With these New NEWS posts (now from India) www. Queen’s Baton entered Haryana from Dabwali border of Sirsa District from Rajasthan on 26th evening about 3 hours later than its scheduled time.

The Queen’s Baton got stupendous welcome by eagerly waiting public all through its way to Sirsa. There was no protest or rising of black flags anywhere as was apprehended before its arrival. Late in the evening, a cultural program at Bhagat Singh Stadium continued till 2Am in the morning with a large number of people attending the same. On 27th morning the Queen’s Baton headed towards Fatehabad from Barnala Road at around 7:40AM. Before marching towards Sirsa on 26th September, The Baton relayed through various parts of the city had a brief stay at Ch Dalbir Singh Indoor Stadium, Deep Automobile, Hero Honda dealership in Sirsa where Mr Pawandeep Jolly president Haryana Patrkar Sangh, his father S. Tirlochan Singh Kalra, Mr Tinna, Reps. of Hero Honda Ltd., Mr AC Gaadi, Dr. OP Bansal, S. Pahuja GS Mann, Mahabir Godara, Dheeraj Bajaj, Prabhudayal, Nakul, Navdeep Setia, Ashwini Sharma, Thakur Uday Partap Singh etc. welcomed the baton. The Baton carnival also went to Tara Baba Kutia, Jagdev Singh Chowk, Subhash Chowk, Rori Bazar etc befor it reached Shahid Bhagat Singh Stadium.
