Watch Video: Dabwali gets Railway-Over-Bridge (ROB) on New Year Eve. Work has finally started on 31st December 2013 on much awaited ROB on NH10 (NH9) on Sirsa-Dabwali-Malout Road on the eve of New Year. The Bhumi Poojan and initiation of the Construction Process of the ROB was done in the presence of Dr Ashok Tanwar MP Sirsa, Dr KV Singh OSD Media to CM Haryana, Sh Kuldeep Singh Gadrana Advocate, several Congress Leaders and many citizens of Dabwali. The 1st step of ROB construction is Plate Load Test. (PLT) The test methods are used to estimate the bearing capacity of a soil under field loading conditions for a specific loading plate and depth of embedment and also for load tests of soil and flexible pavement components for use in evaluation and design. Dr Ashok Tanwar said that CM Haryana will lay the foundation stone of the ROB later in the end of January or in February, by that time all the test reports should be ready. Dr KV Singh said that as promised the work has been started in the year 2013 itself.
