Addressing media persons on the premises of Ganpati Cotton Mills Sirsa. he demanded that disparities in Taxation structure, CST VAT etc. should be removed, the benefits being announced for setting up of new units should also be extended to existing units, he said that the ginning capacity of Ginning industry in Haryana exceeded far more than domestic consumption of the state, so Govt of Haryana should set up Yarn Spinning factories and Cloth factories in Haryana, this will give employment to youth of Haryana and will also augment the revenue of Haryana State in the way taxes etc. Without the above remedies the Cotton Ginning industry will perish and it will be almost impossible to do business. He also welcomed the decision of Haryana Govt in reducing the market fee from 4% to 1.6%.
