A Pall of Gloom in Ellenbad villages upon the death of 3 in a road mishap.

Three members of a family were killed when their brand new Honda Amaze car rammed into a dumper parked along the roadside near Hansi town on the Hisar-Delhi bypass road early on Tuesday morning.

A video shared by a local person went viral, from which family and friends came to know about the accident.

The deceased have been identified as Jaskaran Brar (40), his younger brother Gurmukh Brar (37) and Gurmukh’s daughter Gaganpreet Kaur (12). The former’s wife Harvinder Kaur and son Jasdev suffered serious injuries and have been admitted to a Hisar hospital in critical condition.

According to the information, the family, hailing from Damdama Village in Ellenabad tehsil of Sirsa district was returning from Delhi after dropping Jaskaran’s elder daughter Jannat Kaur at the airport. She had taken a flight to Canada on Monday night. Jaskaran was driving the car when the accident took place. It is suspected that Jaskaran who was driving the car might have fallen asleep out of tiredness and the car went offroad to hit in the backside of a parked Large Truck.

The Brar family a.k.a. Bajewala family from the name of their ancestral village Baja Khana in Bhatinda) is a well to do family of progressive farmers and are also running a number of Gas Stations and other businesses in Rania-Damdama area. Many out of the large family clan are immigrants and are living in various countries abroad.

While Gurmukh, his daughter and wife lived in HUDA Sector 20 Sirsa, rest of the families are settled in Dam Dama village.

Parents of Gurmukh and Jaskaran were on a trip to Canada on a visitor VISA.
The Funeral of the three deceased will be held on 30th May in village Dam Dama so that parents, Jannat and other family members living abroad may attend it.
