A Pall of Gloom in Ellenbad villages upon the death of 3 in a road mishap.
Three members of a family were killed when their brand new Honda Amaze car
rammed into a dumper parked along the roadside near Hansi town on the
Hisar-Delhi bypass road early on Tuesday morning.
A video shared by a local person went viral, from which family and friends
came to know about the accident.
The deceased have been identified as Jaskaran Brar (40), his younger brother
Gurmukh Brar (37) and Gurmukh’s daughter Gaganpreet Kaur (12). The former’s
wife Harvinder Kaur and son Jasdev suffered serious injuries and have been
admitted to a Hisar hospital in critical condition.
According to the information, the family, hailing from Damdama Village in
Ellenabad tehsil of Sirsa district was returning from Delhi after dropping
Jaskaran’s elder daughter Jannat Kaur at the airport. She had taken a flight to
Canada on Monday night. Jaskaran was driving the car when the accident took
place. It is suspected that Jaskaran who was driving the car might have fallen
asleep out of tiredness and the car went offroad to hit in the backside of a
parked Large Truck.
The Brar family a.k.a. Bajewala family from the name of their ancestral
village Baja Khana in Bhatinda) is a well to do family of progressive farmers
and are also running a number of Gas Stations and other businesses in
Rania-Damdama area. Many out of the large family clan are immigrants and are
living in various countries abroad.
While Gurmukh, his daughter and wife lived in HUDA Sector 20 Sirsa, rest
of the families are settled in Dam Dama village.
Parents of Gurmukh and Jaskaran were on a trip to Canada on a visitor VISA.
The Funeral of the three deceased will be held on 30th May in village Dam Dama so that parents, Jannat and other family members living abroad may attend it.
