5th Death Anniversary Tau Devi Lal

Ch. Devi Lal Ex DPM of India was remembered today by holding prayers and garlanding of his statues at different places in Sirsa Distt. In the early morning in SIRSA a Sarv-Dharma Prayer was held at Tau Devi Lal Park, and his statue was garlanded. Leaders and party workers of INLD as well people who appreciated Ch. Devilal were present on these events. Some of them were, Mr. Padam Jain, Mr. Amir Chawla, Mr. Ashok Verma, Mr.Subhash Kamboj, Mr.Bharat Singh Odhan, Mr. Krishan Gumber, Dr. Radhey Shyam Shrama, Mr. Krishan Tantia, Mr. Atma Ram, Mrs. Promila Sharma, Mrs. Krishna Phogat, Mr. Arun Beniwal etc.

Mr. Digvijay Singh (S/o Mr. Ajay Chautala) grandson son of Ch. Devi Lal was also present at Town Park and later at JCDV also.

Similarly the statue of Ch Devilal at Ch. Devi Lal Engineering College, situated in Village Panniwala Mota about 20 km from Sirsa on the National Highway # 10 was also garlanded.


At Jan Nayak Ch Devi Lal Vidyapeeth (JCDV), Mr. Manful Singh Dhaka, Registrar of JCDV, garlanded the statue at JCDV campus, Mr. Vinay Kumar Mendiratta, Director JCDV offered flowers at the statue.

A Blood Donation Camp was organized in the dental college complex of Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Vidyapeeth (JCDV) Sirsa. All the Principals and many from the staff and large number of students of the group of institutions under JCDV were present at the blood donation camp. Dr. GS Somany, Mr. Ashwani Sharma, & Mr. Karnail Singh from the Distt. Red Cross Blood Donation Services collected the blood units. A social worker Mr. Rajesh Satija, who had donated blood more than 2 dozen times, associated with the Red Cross, said that more than 90 units of blood had been collected in the camp.

Mr. Kuldeep Singh Dhaka, despite his disabilities, was seen donating the blood at the camp. He told Sirsa News that this time he was dedicating his blood to Brave Soldiers.
