Congress leaders and party supporters carried an effigy of Ch Om Parkash Chautala from Congress Bhawan through the main bazaars and burnt it at Subhash Chowk after the NEWS of indictment of the Chautalas in JBT scam by a Delhi Court and in cases of Income in excess to known sources. Mostly laid back congress this time demonstrated in the same fashion as INLD had been doing it in last several years. Ch Ranjit Singh, Dr KV Singh, Malkiat Singh Khosa, Hoshiari Lal Sharma, Surender Nehra, Bhupesh Mehta, Sanju Bala, Rani Randhawa, Om Parkash Keharwala, Mohal Lal Darolia, Naveen Kedia, Bikkarmjit Singh Advocate and several workers joined the demonstration. Later the Congressmen gave a memorandum to Dr Yudbir Singh Khyalia, Deputy Commissioner Sirsa, for Governor Haryana to remove the tainted INLD leaders from legislative posts. Similar demonstrations were held all over Haryana.

Mr Padam Jain Sr. leader of INLD commented that it was unprincipled to hold such demonstrations by Congress at a stage where nothing has been proved against INLD by any court of Law, they are perhaps doing this to distract Public from their own scams.
