THE FOUNDATION stone of Gurdwara Sahib, HUDA Sector 20 was laid yesterday by Sant Baba Pritam Singh yesterday, near the community center. The ceremony was attended by a large numbers Sikhs from the city as well as adjoining villages and many residents of sector 20 HUDA.

After Bhog & Ardaas of Path Sri Gurugranth Sahib Langar (Free Meals) was served at the venue.

HSGPC Very soon- Jhinda
The long standing demand of a separate Gurdwara management committee for Haryana shall be reality very soon, Mr. Jagdish Singh Jhinda, President HSGPC (Adhoc) said at the house warming ceremony of Mr. Malkiat Singh Khosa Gen Secretary HSGPC and a prominent congress leader of Ellenabad region. Mr. Jhinda said that Badal faction of Punjab is trying to create hurdles in the legitimate demand of the Sikhs of Haryana by seeing the PM and staging protests in Haryana by harnessing man power from Punjab, his tactics are understood by Sikhs of Haryana.

Mr. Jhinda said that he and Mr. Didar Singh Gen Secretary also met Ms. Sonia Gandhi in delhi on 23rd March, 2007 she gave them a keen ear and agreed that the demand is justified, on the same very had they were to meet PM Manmohan Singh but due to his pressing appointments they could not get appointment with him that day. Mr. Jhinda said to question by the scribes who quoted Mr. Badal’s statement that the formation of a separate committee will result into a turmoil in Haryana by the way of protests, Mr Jhinda said that Haryana Sikhs are peace loving as well as law abiding and Mr. Badal is trying to create phobia by such statements.
