A NATIONAL newspaper scheduled to be launched on this Baisakhi, (13th April, 2007) has appointed Mr. Jagat Jasuja of Sirsa as its zonal director. The Hindi daily, now to be published from NOIDA, is already in print as a local paper since 1979. Mr. Jasuja before this had been working for Rashtriya Sahara, correspondent for Sirsa. Mr. Jasuja had also been reporting to a medical fortnightly printed from Haryana. Soft spoken Mr. Jasuja has wide experience as he had worked in pharmaceuticals, seeds marketing and had has also been a keen farmers once.
Mr Rajender Dhaban has been appointed as bureau chief for Sirsa, Mr. Rajender is known for his elaborate reporting, coverage of rural problems and country side of Sirsa especially the Nathusari Chopta area. Mr. Dhaban is from agriculture background but is also running a successful petro products retail business. Talking to Sirsa News Mr. Rajender said that this new news paper shall have the same pages all over Haryana, from ‘Chautala to Palwal’ and has the slogan: 1 Pardesh; 1 Rupee; 1 Paper.
Mr. Naresh Arora who has been appointed as Staff Correspondent for Sirsa, shall take care of news gathering and reportage for this paper, Mr. Naresh had been working with Samarghosh a paper run by the director of Total TV, Sirsa Kesri, Dainik Hindustan: a national Hindi Paper and few other local papers before this.
