Haryana Chief Minster BS Hooda announced today land for the construction of two dharmsalas to two respective communities viz Aggarwal and Arora communities. He announced his largess at a pubic meeting in the local Tara Baba Kutia, the abode of local MLA and Minister of State for Home Gopal Kanda.

He said that he and his entire government was dedicated to the cause of holistic development of state without any parochial consideration. He took a dig on his betenoire OP Chautala by lebelling him and his two sons for using politics for their self aggrandizement. He asserted that for him the politics was a weapon to serve the society. He alleged that Chautalas had been making false claims about making developments in Sirsa district during their tenure but the real fact was that they raised a University in Chaudhary Devi Lal's only to hoodwink the people. They later floated their own Chaudhary Devi Lal VidhyaPeeth and developed it at the cost of University which was relegated to the back seat and spent only a sum of Rs.9 crores on the Varisity.


Hooda said that when he came to power in 2005, he inherited a sick and defunct Varisity and it was only due to his personal care and attention that now the University can boost of at being at par with other top ranking universities of the country. Regarding the bandh which was forcibly imposed upon the Sirsa people by the INLD on the eve of his visit here. He said that the trio Chautalas always thrown a spanner into the development works initiated by his reign. He also alleged that now when the Chautalas are out of power for the last few years and they are feeling their political turf slipping away from under their feet, they have resorted to mudslinging and cheap politics. He said that during his tenures Chautala spent a sum of 862 crores on Sirsa whereas during his (Hooda's) last tenure of four and half year he spent a sum of Rs.1470 crores on Sirsa. He also decalared that for any development work the coffers of the state governemnt were full. Others who also addressed included Kuldeep Sharma, the acting president of HPCC and Gopal Kanda, Minister of State for Home affairs.
