See the Kalpana-I Satellite pictures to have a look at the rain gods that showered blessing on farmers on 9th & 10th February. This rain brought to an end longest dry spell of this winter shall also arrest the soaring mercury for few days thus helping the wheat crop tremendously.

However as always the rains bring misery to Sirsa city and its suburbs as there is never anything concrete done to address to the drainage problem of this city.

Weather Forecast

A western disturbance in the form of a low pressure area over Pakistan and neighborhood. It is likely to move east-northeastwards and affect western Himalayan Region and plains of northwest India during next 3 days.

Rain/snowfall is likely at many places with isolated heavy to very heavy falls over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal during next 3 days. Rain/thundershowers also likely at many places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan during next 2-3 days. Isolated hailstorm is also likely over the above regions.

However from observing the latest web pictures from Satellite it can be safely assumed that Sirsa shall remain more or less dry on 11th February at least.
