Ajay Chautala Speaks about Ellenabad By-Elections and Bashing up of Traffic Cop at NH10 Sirsa allegedly by Private Gunman of Congress Leader Gobind Kanda on 2oth December Evening near Vishal Mega Mart
THE LAW and order in the state has completely collapsed and not a day passes when some where heinous crimes are not committed with impunity. This was stated by Ajay Singh Chauatala MLA and the secretary General of the INLD while addressing media persons here today. He said that while on the recommendation of some top police cops Media persons are being booked and Sub Inspector level police personnel are deputed to make investigations. Referring to yesterday’s incident at Sirsa in which some private gun men of Govind Kanda a brother of Gopal Kanda Minister of State for Home Industries and Sports assault a Traffic Cop and then some INLD workers are booked in false cases. He also alleged that when the INLD Govt. left the regime in 2004 the state exchequer was full with over Rs.1700 crores, but now the state is reeling under a debt of Rs.13000 crores. He said that not only there is complete collapse of law and order but the acute shortage of Power and water has also greatly harassed the population. He alleged that the tall claims of Hooda that within 3 years there would be surplus power generartion and that Haryana would sell power to other states stands fully exposed and it has proved that he made false promises to hoodwink the people. He further alleged that only the henchmen and lackeys are given Jobs in the state without proper tests and interviews etc. On the other hand when contacted Gopal Kanda said that the INLD leaders have foreseen their devastating defeat at the oncoming Ellenabad by-elections and under frustration are making baseless allegations against the Congress workers. With reference to the alleged cop beating incident of yesterday he claimed that as the Home Minister it was his duty to ensure that no cop was found in an inebriated state during duty hours. He said that he has ordered for an impartial probe and those found guilty would be punished.
