He alleged that during the recent Ellenabad by election Hooda exhibited a long list of development works which he claimed were carried out in Sirsa district by spending over Rz. 1200 crores, where as in fact during his previous regime not even a single development work was carries out and the local Ch. Devilal University was given some grant only after the Sirsa intelligentsia knocked at the doors of Pb. and Haryana High court which directed the Govt. to take some steps to save the teaching institution from closure. He said now after the Elllenabad by election in which the Congress and especially Hooda himself suffered a humiliating defeat, all development going in the local University have been closed to teach a lesson the people of Sirsa for defeating the Congress. He said another proof of his vindictiveness and bias against Sirsa people he has stopped two Roadways buses running between village Bani and Chandigarh and between Ellenabad and Hisar to punish the people of Ellenabad constituency. He asserted that now even Union Minister Kumari Selja and Virender a former Haryana Minister also allege that Hooda is the Chief Minister of only Rohtak and has ignored the development of the state. He alleged that the law and order has completely collapsed and the unbridled bureaucracy ruled the roost. Citing an example he said that today neither SDM nor the Naib tehsildar was present when he himself wanted to hand over a memorandum after staging protest against price rise in Ellenabad and only the secretary of Ellenabad Municipality was sent to receive it, despite the fact that the date of State level protests was already announced by INLD. He further alleged that even a sum of Rs. 2 Crores announced by Tarlochan singh MP for some development works in the Ellenabad constituency were not spent by the concerned authorities and the amount may lapse if not utilized till March 31. He further alleged that Hooda has been pursuing anti farmer and anti people policies and all sections of sections of society have alienated from the Congress party and want an immediate change in the regime. He cited another example of apathetic attitude of Hooda Govt against the Sirsa district by not giving the compensation to the fire Victims of Dabwali even after the orders of the Pb. and High court and declared that the INLD would do every thing possible to get compensation for these hapless victims and would even give a call for Sirsa and Dabwali bandhs in case the same was given to the victims in the near future.
