Fire guts down cycles-shop in Kalanwali
Maheswari Cycle store situated near Anaj Mandi Kalanwali was gutted by fire at around 12Noon today, cycles, cycle parts, and property worth lacs of rupees went into the flames, due to season of arrival of crops in the Mandi, Fire fighters had a tough time to extinguish the fire.

A leading tyre showroom of Sirsa Taneja Tyres was broke into by thieves and Cash and tyres worth more than 2lac rupees were stolen last night. The thieves broke into the shop from a vacant plot on the back side of the showroom.
Inflated DHBVN Bills Irk Consumers in Rania
Electricity Consumers of Rania township were agitated at sudden increase of minimum tariff of electricity. DHNVN official Mr. RN Khichi said that the tarrif had been increased at the recommendations of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC), and nothing can be done to decrease it at local level.

Students appreciate books at book exhibition at CDLU.
The tow day book exhibition cum sale at Ch Devilal University Sirsa, was visited by a large no. of students from University as well from the other colleges of Sirsa. The students especially girls showed keen interest in the books, and said that such books which are not any syllabus are not available in Sirsa at any cost. The visitors said that though such topics are available on the internet these days, but reading from a book has its own advantage and convenience.
