HIV+MINOR GIRL ELOPES, ACCUSED AND HIS KIN BOOKED FOR ABDUCTION

THE BADA GUDHA police of the district have registered a criminal case against one Pawan Kumar father Bhoop Singh and mother Brhama Devi all residents of village Burj Bhangu along with Pawan’s sister Rajbala and brother in law Mange Ram both belonging to Badopal (Haryana) under sections 363 and 366 of the IPC for allegedly kidnapping an orphan minor girl resident of village Bappan of the district on February 19. Both of them reportedly went to Chandigarh and married in some mandir and got a certificate of marriage. In the meantime the police was groping; in the dark to recover the victim. According to information both after marriage on 4.3.2010 presented before SDM but as he was absent his Reader reportedly recorded girl’s statement. But when the girl and her ‘husband’ demanded a copy of her statement the SDM refused to put his signature and her statement was torn off. Later on March 12 the victim girl was recovered by the police and she was produced before Ilaqa Magistrate where in her statement under section 164 of the Cr.PC, said the she willingly went with the accused and married and refused to be medically examined. She also refused to go with her kin and ultimately was sent to the Nari Niketan Karnal. According to SHO Bada Gudha both the boy and the girl are HIV+ patients and also undergoing treatment.
