initiative of Narender Modi held in Sirsa on 15th Dec 2013. The Run for Unity
is the brain child of Sh Narender Modi, BJP's Prime Ministerial Candidate for
2014 Lok Sabha elections. In Sirsa the Run for Unity was fagged off from Nehru
Park Sirsa, it returned at the same venue after passing through main Bazaars of
Sirsa City.

BJP leaders, Mahabir Parshad, Jagdish Chopra, Yatinder Singh, Arun Beniwal, Manpreet Azad, Shyam Bajaj, Pardeep Ratusaria, Pinky Bajwa, Gurdev Rahi, Jagat Kakar along with scores of supporters of Narender Modi for PM participated in the Run. In Gujarat, Gujrat chief minister Narendra Modi flagged off 'Run for unity', which seeks to drum up support for his 'Statue of unity' project, on the 63rd death anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel here on Sunday morning. The run is being held simultaneously in about 1,100 places across the country. According to Narendra Modi - This run is being organized with a determination to unite the people, unite the villages and unite the nation, it was about "patriotism".
